I went through a whole bunch of tracks on, spent ages sorting through them, chose a bunch of cool ones and then made this. All sorts of typical kittenrock shit from floaty weirdness to cosmic grooves and harsh beats.

Tom Foolery and the Family Jewellery – Overdub

I’m not so sure about that name. With the kind of prejudiced preconceptions I have about music (I’m such a snob!), I normally would have skipped over this but I’m glad I didn’t. This is some moderately aggressive bass-oriented Game Boy music. Saying that probably sounds cooler in an Australian accent. It sounds fucking stupid in my southern English accent. A few chirpy chip moments but plenty of nice bass and moody sounds.

My favorite track is Second Guesses because of the sexy hi-hats.

Tumble & Toast – Knallert Forbudt EP

Laid back instrumental beats mixed with Game Boy twinkles and textures. I wish there was more slow Game Boy music. The third track slaps it down a bit too wide with its big synths and piano riffs but the first two tracks have a great austere groove.
